NATIONAL WELDING SEMINAR NWS2k5
Indian Welding Society, Western Zone , is organising the
National Welding Seminar NWS2k5
at Mumbai, during 20th to 21st October, 2005.
About the Seminar
The theme of the seminar is “Welding – The Future Is Here”. The two day seminar intends to focus on the current status of welding in the various sectors of application in India and bring out the Future Trends and identify the actions required to catch up with the latest in the world. Papers presented during the seminar will cover different sectors like Welding Equipment, Welding Consumables, Thermal & Nuclear Power, Pressure Vessels for Hydrocarbon, Fertilizer & Chemical Plants, Oil & Gas Pipeline, Aerospace, Automobiles, Ship Building, Construction Machinery, Modeling for Welding, Computer Applications in Welding, Application of Welding Robots, Welding Research, Welding Education, Training & Certification. Etc. Experts drawn from diverse industries, educational institutions, Inspection agencies & consultants will present the papers on the theme for vide interaction with delegates. The members of the Asian Welding Federation have been invited to present papers on the ‘State-of-the-Art’ in their respective countries.
The Seminar Venue
The Venue of the Seminar is Fariyas Holiday Resort, a five-star Deluxe Resort in Lonavla with lush green surroundings. The resort has indoor swimming pool, water sports, Gym and other facilities for relaxing. Lonavla is a hill station located at a height of about 650m from sea level in the Sahayadri ranges. It is about 80 km from Mumbai or Pune on the Mumbai-Pune Express Highway. The seminar is organized as a fully residential program. All registered delegates will be accommodated at the Resort for the night on 20th October 05 and transport arrangements will be made for delegates arriving at Mumbai or Pune
5th Meeting of Asian Welding Federation (AWF)
Indian Welding Society is a member of the Asian Welding Federation. The 5th Meeting of the Asian Welding Federation will be held on 21st October 2005 in conjunction with the above seminar. This meeting is by Invitation to members of Asian Welding Federation only.
